Pardon moi if this is beyond obvious, but is there a way to record my guitar tracks WHILE my drum and synth lines are playing as opposed to just importing a previously recorded .wav file?

Thanks, and just point me to the "tar and feathering" room if I just need to open my eyes...

Thanks,

- Paul

if you're using Fl Studio Producers ed, yes you can record audio. I don't use FL enough to tell you how; but I'm sure someone will shortly.

Maybe I just didn't get the joke, but if you really need ASIO drivers I recommend asio4all, which is an universal ASIO driver that can be used with any soundcard and clearly lowers latency evn on crappy onboard notebook sounscards. Highly recommended!
can be found on www.asio4all.com

I was trying to remember how to do it, forgot that you don't use the record button up on the toolbar!

no matter, I rarely use FL anyway.

I should of added I wake screaming that too, in fact many of the floopers can attest to the fact that I have responded to the "how do I record" question enough times to do it in my sleeep, and quite politely I might add. This last one this girl asked it 4 times in one day. In two of the threads I posted screenshots, the third was closed and the fourth I poited out it had been answered. Btw I have a folder of 198 FL screenshots in 15 folders. Even with shots of the asio4all installed :?

I don't record any audio I do "live" (guitar, hardware synths, and vocals) in FL. I use Fl for a composer, drum machine, host and midi recording. My multi-track is AA 1.5, because I have better options (autopunch, loop record, custom shortcuts). :D
