Confusing if this video means that version 1.20 is just released, (problaby not cause when i currently open Avenger, there is no update notification in Avenger).
Thanks msv for this video, but you should have make it clear at the beginning of this vid when/if version 1.20 is released.

Needless to say the new features in 1.20 are looking/sounding truly awesome :0)

Is it possible to click the active category (left column) so that none are selected? Thought this might be a nice way to select all categories at once, could be useful for searches etc.

Good stuff! I guess I would like to set something like a standard behaviour for the browser. When selecting a VA-Shape show browser up/down/full, when selection a sample show the browser up/down/full...and so on. So you don't have to change manually every time you change the section.

should avenger see an octave lower than the midi key pressed? When I play for instance a C3 avenger spits out a C2. is this normal? is there a setting to tweak?

Newest update ruined many of my presets I have made.

I have a huge library of sounds I have made with Avenger. Sounds I have made from scratch with Avenger. I have folders with the entire Ableton channel strip (including Avenger, external eqs, distortion etc) AND a bounced WAV file for that corresponding Avenger sound.

After updating to the new version of Avenger many of my sounds are messed up. It seems like something went wrong when Avenger opened the preset and some of the effects in the effects chain. Specially with the filter effect; it loaded a different type of filter.

Will this be fixed in the new update or do I have to revert to an older one...?

Edit: Its not just the filter effect. Almost every single sound I made sounds different now...

Edit: Been uninstalling & reinstalling different versions. Different versions make my presents sound different & messed up... This completely ruins projects I have already made.

yes this is intended. But you can setup one ocatave higher as default in the SYS page if you really want to do so. I personally think, one octave lower suits modern music much better. You do not need to play a melody at C5 very often, but you surely do very much basslines, dub wobbles and such stuff.

I can hardly believe this... First of all: which "newest" update you mean? 1.1.2 it out for quite a long time now.... Second, our factory presets and expansions, third party etc... all still sound the same like before. But we surely can take a look at this, please send us a preset (to our support via email, not here!) where this behaviour occurs and an info on which version number it sounded correct, and what sounds wrong now in 1.1.2. If there really is a problem somewhere we might have overseen, we would be glad to fix this. Thx!

Awesome, was wondering about this some time back. Now Avenger produces the same pitch as the other synths I own.

wondering if there will be any special Avenger thingies made for the push2 ?

Some of the parameters like changing waveforms cant be mapped to push

A "rudimentary" version which makes use of the display and allows to browse avenger libraries would be really really great

Probably cost an arm and leg to develop, but it would be great nonetheless

And after all, greatness is what you care about?

UPDATE: I only noticed this recently. It could a version before 1.1.2. I have only recently tried using the presets that were affected today. I haven't used Avenger for a few months.

In any case.

I have:

EXACT Avenger preset and midi used in an ABLETON channel
AND
Exported WAV file from corresponding Ableton channel

I have done this meticulously for hundreds of sounds I have made so I can audition sounds I have made before and load them exactly as they sound. Something has happened with the recent updates that has caused MANY of my sounds to sound different. I have listened to the sounds A to B.

Edit: It seems, so far, to have only affected sounds I made with an older version of Avenger. My newer sounds are unaffected.

Thanks for the quick response. I will email the support!

Update: Any preset I made with 1.0.23 sounds different with newer versions.
