Is anyone aware of a free/cheap effect like this? I'm trying to recreate the likes of the Electro Harmonix Micro Synth in software. The only software effect of this type I'm aware of is in Guitar Rig.

The audio triggered synths out there are mine, Fretted Synth's, Clone Ensemble Alien Solo, Expert Sleepers Oomigmok thing.

Some of mine are dual audio/midi triggering. Link is my sig, I would check out Powerator.

There is an actual emulation of the EH Microsynth. It was freeware and has long since disappeared but give me an e-mail addie and I'll send it your way.

doesn't seem to track very well though at least not compared to the ni synth module , I'm hoping ik amplitube 3 will have a synth sometime in the future though
