My personal "hater synth" was Sylenth. I loved to hate it because everyone uses it, everyone talks about it..

Then Lennard made it available with subscription and I insta bought it :dog:

Loving it :tu:

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here? :D ShawnG

FM8.
I love it but I hate its bugs and the "fact" that it won't be updated in the near future.

I hate all VSTs because I use AUs.
Wavsen.com - Professional mix delivery platform with client approval, watermarking, and portfolio page builder.

i hate this plugin
JamWide - a cross-platform Ninjam client for DAWs

I love to hate ePhonic Drumatic 4, sounds great but has so many random crashes and no updates, the developer doesn't seem interested when I have contacted him

I wouldn't say that i "love to hate" them, but, there's some VSTi's, which get notoriously hyped here, which i consider really bad, both in terms of sound and handling. No idea whether people sit on their ears, or if it really is THAT subjective...

Weird. I contacted him and he responded within a day. Though I haven't had any crashes either :D

Slate Digital. I have my reasons. More than likely many will disagree so...........

Amplitube. So many beautiful graphical variations of the same basic guitar tones. As a GAS simulator, it's pretty great though, what with all the microphones you can pretend to buy.

Anything that uses iLok. I was trying really hard to hate stuff that uses iLok but couldn't get over the fact that some of the best gear uses it. Then I got one and the rest is history.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

There's a fine line between love and hate.

You talking the Dongle Itself? Or just The software? I’m the same way but I’m okay with the software. Some of my good stuff like Falcon and the Soundtoys goodies Use just it.
I’m no go on dongles however...

I'm using the dongle. I've had to reinstall my operating system amd had hard drive failures etc.. iLok is a gift when it comes to reinstalling a lot of Plug-ins.

Oh My apologies. I misunderstood you and thought you hated ILOKs :hihi:
I should Reiterate, If necessary I will tolerate dongles, I am not completely against them, I just stay away out of the fear that I would Loose them...Also the Idea of having to keep a USB port occupied when I already have enough being used (I use a Laptop for Production) Is mortifying. I do agree that their use helps with those situations you have had however.
