Thank you guys for your comments!
Martin, I will check the issues you found. I myself didn't have these problems but we're all long enough in the VST business to know that this means nothing...
Now it's time for vacation so don't expect too much happening from my side in the next two weeks. Anyway, please keep sending me your comments & findings!
Cheers, Björn

Hey Martin.martin_l wrote:The "per voice EG" seems to switch to HOLD mode at some points (HOLD function mode is on "normal", i.e. non-PS-3100) and HOLD itself is off. Still after a while notes get stock and I need to manually switch HOLD on and off again to release them. (Attack parameter is below 50%).
Another question is whether the "AMP MOD" with Audio Rate MG1 (on triangle) also is so noisy on the hardware? I think it would be great if the modulation signal could be band-limited before the amplifier.
According to the manual of the real 3100, the AMP MOD becomes RingMod when the knob goes beyond 50%. (Hence the 'noisiness'.) Check here for details.
As to the Hold switch; its function is also dependent on the Attack stage. Details here.
Index of entire manual here.

I will try to do some more experiments to see whether I can narrow it down further.
As for the HOLD, I did read the manual, and had the correct settings. However, at the moment I can't reproduce it. Maybe it is related to the other problem I mentioned, that some settings forget their values despite showing the intended value. My suspicion is that the HOLD had reverted to the PS-3100 mode, despite displaying otherwise.
As for the RING MOD, I am not talking about the usual RING mode side bands, but more a white noise or crackling coming into the sound. This could simply come from the fact that the modulation signal has very hight frequency components, and would be normal in this case. I was more wondering whether the hardware is showing that as well, or whether the hardware has a LP filter in place to reduce that noise.
(if not, it still could be one of your usual "tweaks"...
Anyway, thanks again for this splendid piece of work. Really enjoying it. This KORG series was always one of the machines I admired when seeing somewhere, and knowing that I will never really have access to one (apart from your simulations
Enjoy your holidays!

Version 1.0.1 of FB-3100 is available fixing some issues with preset changes and the Amplitude/Ring Modulation crackling as pointed out by Martin above (thanks again, man!
).
Especially the Amplitude/Ring Modulation crackling bug was a nasty and hard-to-find one as it was introduced with the band-limiting of the MG1 signal... Murphy is always 'round the corner.

@Björn will we see a Poly 61, a Poly 800 or a DW6000/8000 emulation in the future?
