Sylenth Or Massive For Pop?

I would say Massive. Sylenth1 sounds like some kind of high-tech alien technology, which is everything but about the pop. Massive is more dirty and less digital.
Both synths have more presets than you can use in your lifetime
I have over 4000 individual free presets for Sylenth1, but some guy claimed he has 10000 for Massive.

Post some examples of pop you are interested in?
This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?

Both have tons of presets, both are very capable for Pop and other genres.arimalan wrote:And Which Has More Presets?
They are different enough to get them both.

Personally I would of said Massive.
Big sound, nippy envelopes. Sylenth sounds great but it's scope is more limited. And with pop - anything goes soundwise.
But hope it works for you. Let us know how you get on.

If you are just getting started then i would recommend sylenth. It sounds top notch makes about any sound you can think of and the workflow is easy. just be sure to read the manual this saves a huge amount of unnecessary guessing. also search the web for basic synthesis tutorials if you dont already know. there are alot of sylenth video tutorials out there as well some of them you have to pay for but would definitely save you time trying to learn on your own

Is a trick question! A good programmer will produce the exact same sound out of both of them. They are both digital software...

I'd also say that Massive is rather on the digital side, while Sylenth1 is more on the analog side.
