Mixing double bass strings, el. bass & kick?

How do I setup my EQ so I don't kill the lower frequencies in my double bass parts. I can handle bass + kick drum quite fine but the double bass part is somewhat tricky to mix and I don't want to cut too much of it's low frequencies so it doesn't lose its power...Any tips, guys?
