Do you mean it's loading as an instrument instead of an effect?dumbledog wrote:So I bought it and installed, but it's only showing up in Logic X on instrument tracks -- it won't let me drop it onto an audio track. I'm on OSX 10.11.6. Any ideas?

I'm sending you a pm for more info...dumbledog wrote:I mean the plugin doesn't show up in the plugin list when I click on an audio track's strip. But if I try it on an instrument track, it shows up.

For closure, Jack and I worked this out. I'm trying to apply this to a mono track, and since there's no mono version of the plugin Logic just omits it. In the mean time, stick a Gain plugin ahead of it if you want to use it on a mono track.

Just want to say this plug-in is awesome. I only use it for the Melt feature. It's something I've been looking for a long time. I actually don't think you need to do much enhancement of this plug-in. Everyone here is saying to add LFO's and more this and more that but I like that is fairly straight-forward. I would be less likely to use it if it had a lot more controls.

It won't be a huge update. It's mainly to fix the VST ID issue, which is why we're calling it EchoMelt2, since the filename has to be different. And since we are jumping to v2.0 so soon, we decided to add some features. That being said, we aren't adding too much or making any crazy changes, but the features that we have added I believe will be very welcomed. Stay tuned, this update is releasing this week.benny354 wrote:Just want to say this plug-in is awesome. I only use it for the Melt feature. It's something I've been looking for a long time. I'm glad it's not getting overlooked. It's a very convenient feature to have. Try controlling Input + Length via an X/Y pad for instant dubbed out fun.exmatproton wrote:Nice little update. Love the input slider to the echo unit.

Many thanks for the update Jack. No issues running Echomelt with Phonec2 here, but those new features look tasty.
