Yeah, but when will they need their next one? And can they (or any similar service) ever make any money at this?!

They got $170 million (USD) last week. They got $150 million or so last year (or the year before--they need it so often, it's hard to keep track).

As the saying goes, "A hundred million dollars here, a hundred million dollars there, and pretty soon you're talking about serious money."

Soundcloud is not going away, got their largest VC injection. Phew!
