OK, I bit the bullet...

No more food this month ;)

Scot: yes, I'd very much like a wav or CD copy as I'm not sure my turntable is ready for acetate...

But, why acetate?
Well, this particular label really caters to record collectors. There are a lot of unlimited CD and traditional vinyl releases on it, too, but BLR also likes to put out extremeley limited runs for collectors.
BLRR are definitely quality.
(anyone remember those Zoviet France records with the asphalt and stuff?).
Still have my Norsch / Mohnomishe / Eostre / Popular Soviet Songs originals!

dystonia_ek, I'm glad to see that you have knowledge of the label (and of some pretty cool records!). They really are a quality outfit. I never had any intention of signing on with any label, but once I saw what BLR were about, they would have had to beat me away with a stick...

Excellent stuff, across the board. I was especially thrilled to see Steve Stapleton get involved with the label. I have always been a huge Nurse With Wound fan.

Likewise, I discovered NWW quite by accident as a teenager in the mid-80s and he warped my fragile little mind, not to mention leading me down the slippery slope to harder sonic chemicals... Finally got to chat with Steve at the Current 93 shindig in Toronto this past June - nice guy too.

Just to offer my congrats and well wishes to all involved on this BIG event! :D

Acetates huh? Well there goes my Phillips pressings of 101 Strings right down the toilet!

Thanks! Illustration has been the hardest thing to re-learn since my injury, but, as I said then, I am willing to change styles to beat the limitations. I find that I can't do as much detailed line work as before, but that only encourages me to pick up my airbrushes. It's coming along. When I have the final version, I will post the pic that will be at the showing...

whoa, missed this thread :-o

for sake of a laugh - my contribution was written onboard a train rattling away from the city, an 8 year old girl sitting next to me staring at the weird bleeps and bloops coming out of my headphones (she ran away later)

then uploaded to scot once I landed in the great northern nystate, where I then proceeded to run around and play fetch with my dog in the woods
