I have to admit really liking Snap!'s Rhythm is a Dancer, Haddaway's What is Love, Whigfield's Saturday Night, and Dr Alban's It's My Life 8) :oops:

'It's as serious as cancer'. Superb lyric. Got to be, 'The Power' though;

The whole Shamen Boss Drum album is of course a classic inside this particular field. Even though it is not euro per definition, I would have have to say that it was massively influental on the European bretheren and sisteren.

I am just realizing that many of my favs are from the year 1992.

The source of it all, would of course be MC Miker and DJ Sven

+1

Ralf Hütter couldn't have penned a better lyric

Life in plastic, it's fantastic
Imagination, life is your creation

As with many songs, I'd like to hear it with Mark E Smith on vocals. Would he replace MC Miker G, or DJ Sven though? Difficult.

LOL

IMO I think "Australians in Europe" is Mark/The Fall's take on that particular subject

That is proper hands-in-the-air euro-trance, that is :tu:

A bit like Darude's Sandstorm, in a sense post-euro-trance, as it appeared around the millennium shift.
