Oooh guilty pleasures. I'll bite. Of late this has been on my listen list:
But I have a lot of others! Don't question my taste.

Oh, my bad! You want the whole shebang. I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that. That stuff is stored in a quarantined area of my brain.incubus wrote:But there is no rap there, need lil wayne, featuring bobAiynzahev wrote:Oooh guilty pleasures. I'll bite. Of late this has been on my listen list:

I love it, but it's a little too cookie-cutter though.
Honestly, the stuff that doesn't sound like the really homogenized stuff is kinda fun, keep it coming, but hopefully no autotune
(I just set myself up, didn't I? )

A little? LOL! That had ALL of the formulaic elements!incubus wrote:I love it, but it's a little too cookie-cutter though.
Haddaway's "what is love" was my first thought, but that was in the first post. My tastes tend to lean a little backwards to new jack swing and more house influenced 90s dance. I still like London Beat's "I've been thinking about you." Crystal Waters had a couple of hits that I'll still play from time to time, and, of course, as we head back into new jack swing, you can't have too much Heavy D and the Boys, RIP. I quickly tired of the Snap sound, even though I still have that CD, serious as a cancer!Honestly, the stuff that doesn't sound like the really homogenized stuff is kinda fun, keep it coming, but hopefully no autotune![]()

If you want some of those cliche elements, well, there's always Groove is in the Heart to deliver them a bit more tastefully.

Love it, I did a short "cover" of this back in the day, complete with rap, it was just for my answering machine. "What time'd you call.."thecontrolcentre wrote:

Much better than Mr. Vain, IMO:
What's wrong with Scooter?
