Maybe Alt-click could open the chord selector immediately?

Yes, F10 works, but it would be better: click + ALT

Hi Attila maybe a good solution is, when add another tab in chord selector in the line "for Master Track" "For Chord Progression" "For Preview" and new "Quick suggestion" tab. this open quick suggestion window. this setting is remember and so when later open again come the window you last use. what do you think, is it much work ?. I think the icons to choose choord selector are then not use. the other inputs (realtime play, cycle of fifths are in chord selector). then need only the add by name availibe in chord selector.

No, I DO have a chord progression configured, and the drag button doesn't do anything.

when you click and hold left mouse button over the drag button did it not show the chord names and you can move over mastertrack and release ?

It wasn't working yesterday, but it's working now... strange. I tried it 10 times yesterday, so it wasn't just a one-off thing.

There's a weird display issue in the chord progression tab. When I first switch to it, there's a lot of empty space beneath the chord progression. If I add a chord, the empty space goes away.

Problem happen on my win 10 64 too when there are some chords in chord progressions and win is open again. the space is reduce as soon i click on a chord (right after + sign). adding a chord is not need.

I believe you. I'll keep an eye on this problem. Maybe there is something wrong with the way I handle dragging under macOS. We'll see what others experience.

I realized Alt-click is used for splitting/joining chord boxes on the master track.
I am sorry, I do not like the idea to put "Quick Suggestions" to the Chord Selector.
I propose an option to NOT show the Quick Suggestions panel if the Chord Selector is open. Does that sound good?

RapidComposer Beta v3.3b15 is available!

Improvements:

Trimming empty bars for "MIDI Drag&Drop" to a track works now. Only whole bars are trimmed.
UI layout issues with multi-line chord progressions fixed
An attempt to drag an empty chord progression will result in a warning message.
Fix for a bug when looping 2 beats and changing the chord during playback

thanks for update. For the chords diffrent in composition and chord selector, i get the idea that when press a chord in chord selector, the chord is change in master track and the range at chord time in the selected track is play when " preview phrase in current track at chord time" is choose. so all play same even if magnets are use. then there need no inversions set by hand. there is also additional option possible that all tracks are play, so you can hear the part of the whole song, just by a click on chord selector

Apparently the renaming input bug is still not fixed properly as of b15. Sorry to say this late. I haven't been trying to test the program lately.

Ouch, this is ugly! I really thought this bug was taken care of already!
