Hi all. Just wanted to announce my new sound set for Dune 2. Had an absolute blast creating the patches. Has taken almost a year to release, but time had finally permitted more time to achieve the end result.

Starmap Vol. 2 is the second installment of the Starmap series that consists of 65 patches for Dune 2 which also includes 70 custom wavetables. The wavetables are as follows - Starmap Vol. 1 (18 wavetables), Starmap Vol. 2 (22 wavetables), and an extra 30 bonus wavetables.

The main element of V2 is geared towards Ambient/Cinematic keys using Dune 2's FM and custom wavetable capabilities.

*Note - Starmap Vol. 2 wavetables need to be placed in your designated wavetables folder for Dune 2 in order for some of the patches to work as intended.

Also to note, if you already own Starmap Vol. 1 you will not need to import Starmap Vol. 1 wavetables into your designated Dune 2 wavetables folder.

Last day for the introduction sale!

"Abandoned Craft" is an atmospheric patch meant to portray the sounds of a an abandoned spacecraft aimlessly floating in space. Wires have been ripped apart, crew is gone, and all that's left is a picture of what would appear to be a crew members wife and kid just barely hanging by a piece of tape on the side of the control panel.

Modwheel removes the "static" and turns into a deep drone.

Bump/announcement - There is a new Dune 2 sound set in the works that will mostly focus on atonal drones and atmospheres. The main priority of the set is to create unmelodic/airy background atmospheres for cinematic and ambient compositions.
