Don't get me wrong, I have an old 335 and when it comes to a guitarist playing with an organist my preferences lean towards Wes Montgomery and his Gibson L5
in those great trios of the late 50s, but I think a Telecaster is capable of all sorts of things as Danny Gatton and many others have demonstrated over the years.
