I believe it is absolutely true that what was promised isn't what was delivered. Whether or not you find the plugins useful doesn't change that fact.

What was promised?

"Oracle is one of the best reverbs I’ve used.”

Steve Allen (Armada, Garuda). Steve Allen is a Trance Producer and DJ from Leicester, UK.

Who the hell is Steve Allen? Is he a bedroom producer?
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

A great sounding reverb is arguably one of the most important factors in achieving a full and atmospheric mix, and with that in mind, the SoundSpot team set out to create a reverb that can deliver to the demands of modern production. After many months of development, we are proud to announce the arrival of the Oracle Algoverb.

The Oracle is a one stop shop for all your creative reverb needs and can be used on any sound source to great effect. From adding a sense of depth to piano melodies to making synthesised soundscapes sound huge, the Oracle has it covered.

So basically you're saying that he knows what he's talking about, and we as mere amateurs (with high post counts) should respect and value his opinion? Got ya. :tu:

You know, for me, the big disconnect here is simply that, no matter how useful you may find a metallic reverb bundled with a bunch of effects, is that either they know that it isn't up to scratch and are trying to sell it anyway, or, they can't really hear that it's not very good. Either way, it doesn't inspire my confidence in their products.

Love the youtube comments though. I was serious, I am inspired by the marketplace's willingness to embrace this product. I'm definitely learning from this.

I think that he was just posting the fella's soundcloud link. I don't think that was an endorsement.

I should have directed that comment at self-declared experts, like snowflakeprj.

No. I was simply posting a link in answer to your post.

Yeah. I posted a follow up comment. Thanks for the link. :)

Course not - it was rather your intention to troll any next reverb thread in sight with your inane bullshit and outrageous (and outrageously dumb) claims (like this forum was Switzerland central where everyone and their aunt loves to buy into elitist marketing bullshit like that).

Too bad that your local competition is huerestark so this crap won't make you sell a minute of studio-time.

Is anyone willing to record some examples? Interested to witness the shitness. The GUI showed real promise.
