Hey guys,

I've been trying to make this happen, but I ran into a few snags. I was hoping to get a little bit of help if possible. Basically I want to create a knob that scales an inverse relationship between CC1 and CC7. So, as the knob is increased the relationship between CC1 and CC7 is increased, meaning that as CC1 is brought up CC7 is even more effected by it and brought down.

I hope this makes sense. Any tips would be great :)

Wow, thank you so much for responding! Big fan of your stuff :) For some reason I'm getting an 'End On' Expected error for Line 7 'set_control(1,$Knob)'. I'll try to sort it out, I have SO much to learn :D

OK, this seems pretty cool. Thanks again! I was hoping to have the knob sort of scale the relationship rather than act as the inverse itself. So the knob value adjusts how much CC7 is more or less effected by CC1 in the inverse.

Sorry, this stuff is difficult to convey. This is purely for my study BTW, nothing for profit. Just learning :)

Ah, I see! So you basically want to SUBTRACT CC1 FROM CC7, and at a variable percentage?

Yes, exactly. If you think about it this way. I have instruments that I programmed with large dynamic ranges from CC1 1 - 127. I'd love a little knob on my interface that constrained that difference by lowering CC7 as CC1 is raised by a percentage defined by that knob value.

That's actually quite a bit more complex than I thought... since both CCs are variables. Wouldn't you want to affect group/instrument volume, instead?
