So how did you get to that level, do you own VV1 and all the products of VV2 already (except OB Legacy) ?
Yes, I have all VV 1 + all VV2 (except OB) + World Suite + Xtreme FX + some other stuff from UVI :phones:
Sounds right that you should get VV2 free :tu:

But you aint got Synths Anthology 2 ? ;) I am a bit amazed that that is not included in VV2

Post

so it looks like if you have VV1 you only get this small upgrade fee or for free . if you own the single products you needs to pay full upgrade price .

don´t know what to say about this .

Post

Yes,
I have Synths Anthology 1 + 2.

I`m UVI fun from 2008 year

Open a support ticket with UVI and point out the unfairness in this.

They are reasonable people, and should sort you out with a better offer.

Seems you can crossgrade for $299 if you own any single products worth $149 or more. There doesn't seem to be any way to actually select which products to crossgrade from though, so I would hope that it doesn't tie all currently owned products to the new license.

Post

I own VV1, Falcon, Relayer, Acoustic Toy Museum, Electric Toy Museum, Beatbox Anthology 2, Mayhem of Loops, Scratch Machine, Sweep Machine, Urban Suite, Digital Sensations, a separate license of Darklight, Mello and String Machines. And according to the mail I received, I still have to pay 149 to upgrade.

So I guess it's only VV1 and the new additions to VV2 (in my case: BBA2) that count here, not other products. (Some examples in the thread implied other loyalty bonuses, but I think this is not the case... btw, not complaining here, totally o.k. with this - so don't flame me.)

Relax, nobody here working for UVI as far as I know :D

Post

some precision here:

Owners of individual product(s) included in Vintage Vault 2 totalling in value of $149 or more (MSRP) are eligible for upgrade pricing.

Owners of Vintage Vault and at least one of the new products included in version 2 have been contacted via email with a tiered discount voucher as an additional savings towards the Vintage Vault 2 upgrade price.

For additional information, there is a little info icon next to the price on the VV2 page with all the information you need.

Hope this clarify things.

Knowing that it is safe to buy new instruments from them even when they might end up in a possible VV 3.

I call that great customer service.
you can be really lucky . as i said within Bargain Thread , people who owns near all of the single products and are loyal customer needs to pay full upgrade price .

you call it great customer service and i call this really ridiculous to their loyal customer .

hi Olivier,

does this calculation include products received for free (e.g. Mello, Digital Synsations)?
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Good to know, thanks.

Here is an example to show how it looks using a monitor set to 1920 by 1080 resolution.

Instrument UIs cannot be resized as it's bitmap based but we do support retina display with @2X assets and text though so it's crispier looking if your machine support it. Mac and PC.

But we need Uvi Workstation 3 with resizeable GUI

We can do an UVI Workstation 3 with a resizeable GUI but without any resizable instrument in it that would be far less impressive unfortunately.
Some kind of zoom using the @2X assets might be possible but this may look a bit blurry.
