Tried demo...its good. But is there a stereo spread function for supersaws...like in Dune for example? Great GUI, good sound, low cpu hit, good distortion algo...but must say that chorus and reverb sound really bad. But for those two effects I would use other vst fxs anyway.

Regular 80 USD
How long is the intro going to last, price still at $50 ?

I heard it will be $50 till the end of this year, but don't quote me on that

I didn't find a way to do that. The Spread control will adjust each of the three multi-oscs with a difference in pitch of up to 12 semitones. I thought the spread function would be a stereo spread as well, like you mentioned.

Too bad for you, I did :D

Introductory offer since one year? Cool! :)
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

On top of that, I'm also hoping for a Black Friday offer

I don't think it would get any cheaper than $50, that's a great price 8)

My only problem is I already have a lots of VA and I haven't dig deep enough with them... still, I'm impressed by Sunrizer. I'm very undecided. :?
I, like others, advise you to listen to a couple banks of Alba Ecstacy's sounds for Sunrizer to help you make your decision

For those who have already made the right decision, his website has several free patches for Sunrizer.

Wowee...these presets for Sunrizer are nothing short of astounding and the more I hear from this synth, the more I think it's the absolute best buy,for under $100!! There are a ridiculous amount of presets available,a treasure trove of super tasty effects, the morphing is top notch, the GUI is clear, concise & aesthetically appealing,no resizing necessary(because it's size is perfect)...and the ultra low price is such a mystery! :?: :o :D

It's even better... If you have the ios/iPad version, those patches also port straight into the Mac version. Pretty great stuff.

However . . . As far as I can tell, this is abandon-ware. After the initial release, the developer seemed to have dropped interest. I was pretty excited about Sunrizer also (initially). But even little things, like being able to map a sustain pedal --- have gone un-done. I don't think the developer has posted updates in 2 years, through his support page ( http://www.beepstreet.com/support/discussion-board ). He posted something about a "Big update" coming a couple of years ago... then a few months ago... I'm not holding my breath. 2 years is too long to go, with no notice, no commit, no support. It is abandon-ware. Feels like he took the money, and ran. Sorry to be so blunt... but that's what it looks like..

This. Mine is buggy. Holding notes and the arp acts really strange. Ask him if there will be a fix but no responsen yet. Almost two years ago.

Yes indeed...2 years is quite a stretch, but Sunrizer still isn't any were near the level of abandon-ware as LinPlug is.
LinPlug's discontinued CRX4 synth, only has 74 presets and it costs as much as Sunrizer(& CRX4 has a legion of 3rd party presets only accessible to people who previously purchased CRX4,when LinPlug was still in business....but one can still buy a license to use CRX4....WTF!?) Even if any further development is halted for Sunrizer,it does not appear to pose any significant problems,as I ran the demo and it seems very stable. There's 400 factory presets, with a sh*t-ton of 3rd party libraries still available for purchase and at a mere $49...well...if Sunrizer has reached it's end, then so be it.

SunrizerXS (iPhone) hasn't had an update in almost three years, but Sunrizer (iPad) has had three this year. I don't have that one though, just the iPhone one.

XS isn't 64-bit compatible so I imagine it will be gone from the App Store soon.

I don't know / use LinPlug. I was bringing up my experience, mostly because... not being able to use basic control like sustain - hobbles this synth. It's doesn't really matter how many libs are available, or how many sounds you can play through it.. IMO - without basic control, it is just a blippy noise-maker. Hardly worth throwing $50 bucks away on.. That's just one man's opinion though. If you like the demo, and are willing to roll the dice.. that some OS update doesn't render it completely useless - g'luck and all the best. :tu:
