Hi all,
Am looking for those signature sounds of the captioned (DX7, SY99, MKS-20). I am struggling to pick Gospel Musicians or Keyscape. Could any user users of Keyscape please tell me that it already contains most of the signature E-piano, FM tines kinda sounds in the library then I'll directly consider on Keyscape. In the meantime, I will watch more youtubes video to understand what Keyscape has offered.
Thanks!
Cowby

Don't know if you've thought about it, but--for the price of the Keyscape library, you could buy an actual DX7, even a nicely-refurbished second generation model. I paid about that amount for my DX7-s a few months back and absolutely love it.
Just a thought.

Notice that Keyscape won't give you the exact DX7 e piano. That said, there's some very nice Roland ones is there also frequently used on a lot of productions. The hybryd patches are quite nice too.RichieWitch wrote:Don't know if you've thought about it, but--for the price of the Keyscape library, you could buy an actual DX7, even a nicely-refurbished second generation model. Get the free Dexed synth and hunt down the original DX7 original patches and load 'em up.
I loved Keyscape when it came out but after owning it for a while I find a lot of the instruments (while expertly emulated) useless for my kind of sound. The Yamaha grand sounds kind weird to me and pales in comparison to Alicia's Keys... I just don't use it as much I thought I would.
I own a first generation too DX7 too and it comes highly recommended. Great stuff.
