Algorithms Overview
ROOM: A flexible room algorithm useful to create classic environments ranging from small studios to large dancing clubs.

ROOM B: A smoother revision of the ROOM algorithm.

HALL: A classic yet versatile hall reverb ranging from small concert venues to huge canyons. The smooth reflections and soft building tail are beautiful on pianos, drums and vocals.

LARGE HALL: A bright large hall inspired by late ‘80s Japanese studio reverbs. The smooth tail works like a charm on drums, vocals and synthesizers.

PLATE 1: A simplified version of a classic plate algorithm found in late ‘70s hardware processors.

PLATE 2: An extended version of a classic plate algorithm found in late ‘70s hardware processors. Very smooth, great on vocals, drums and pads.

PLATE XL: A huge and dense plate algorithm with a pitch shifting vibrato as modulator. Perfect for ambient synths,
pads, guitars and vocals.

SPRINGY: A fully algorithmic spring tank reverberator. Dirty, ringing and metallic, great on guitars and to add sparkle to synth and percussions.

GLASS (FDN): A modern highly diffusive and transparent reverb. This versatile algorithm can be used on any source material and can range from small ambiences to outer world spaces.

FLOW: A lush, smooth, hugely diffusive creative reverb based on the ‘90s hardware processors, where a lot of allpass blocks were used to create dense late reverberation. The result is a lush, soft building reverb, great for pads, guitars, voices and creative sound design.

SHIMMER: A smooth reverb with a dual pitch shifter in a feedback loop creates an evolving harmonizing soundscape. That’s a classic effect pioneered by Eno, Lanois and U2’s The Edge.

BODE: A weird sound design oriented algorithm made by placing a frequency shifter in the reverb feedback loop. Useful to create metallic resonances and drones.

FORMANT: A creative reverb algorithm featuring a formant filter before the reverb tank.

Price: $49/€49

Colour me interested... sounds great, and I can think of some great uses for the more unique algorithms.

Loving this influx of cheap plugins right now! :D

Does sound really nice in that video.
A bit fried in the higher freqs

So I'm guessing 'Flow' is modelled after the Alesis reverbs?

Damn you Luca!

:D quite same concept. I love how it sounds. I tried it with a sequenced bassline (Squarepusher like) and I loved it so much.

Competitively priced maybe but not exactly cheap!

Very nice plug. The one criticism I have is about the GUI: too much negative space.

@MogwaiBoy: basically :) I loved the concept of a clean interface with few controls and multiple algorithms. I do really hope XenoVerb will be loved for how it sounds.

@Russell: I believe it's a fair price, considering that you'll have 10 different algorithms, and totally in line with the pricing we have for our plugins.

Cheers,
Luca

The AU demo appears not to be working, for me at least. I'm demoing in Mainstage at the moment and it's not affecting the sound in any way, though the interface is up and I can run through presets etc. Mainstage is AU only of course.

I just tried in ZenAudio ALK which hosts AUs and VSTs, and the VST works fine, the AU is the same story, no effect at all.

Post

BUT... sounds amazing. Can anyone confirm if the AU works OK in Mainstage, or Logic? (assuming mainstage and logic will be the same) Maybe it's just the demo

Post

That's strange indeed. There's no difference between the demo and the full version.
I work mainly on Mac and tested the AU on Logic Pro (both 9 and X), MainStage and Live. Please, can you be more specific about your OSX and MainStage version?

Thanks,
Luca

I'm running OSX 10.12.6, and Mainstage 3.2.4. I have 3.3 but don't use it as I had some issues with it and some plugs. Amplitube, from memory... I have Logic on my desktop but it's super old so hardly anything new runs in it... I can my try laptop again tomorrow after a restart perhaps,
