Would be nice to extend this good news to Phalanx owners, no?msvs wrote: btw good News:
we already built in the Drum Sequencer and ARP Midi import/export. Was less work than assumed. Furthermore VST hosts can now record the Arpeggio output as live midi recording

It means whenever the arp goes out of key trying to follow the other tracks, I can midi edit it in my daw and fix it, instead trying to bodge it through Avenger's arp sequencer.
This opens a lot of new musical doors for me.
Big plus. Thank you, Manuel
Didn't notice this earlier. V useful function.VST hosts can now record the Arpeggio output as live midi recording

Weird Problem
Just loaded Avenger after changing nothing on my PC, I have an all black GUI! The VST plays (is loaded) but the GUI is completely black. I have tried it in several DAWS, same, tried uninstalling ands re-installing- same!
I have changed nothing on my set up I am aware of (although windows updates is on) and haven't had any issues before it seems to have just 'happened'
Any ideas!?

Stop me if I'm out of date, but afaik NKS templates don't cover saving own presets - or at least it's quite awkward to do this.
Last year I thought about installing an NKS template someone had kindly built for Omnisphere, but it wouldn't handle own design sounds v easily so I didn't go ahead. Maybe it's changed?
Also there's a lot of function in Avenger, so NKS would be a big task, mapping everything.
Maybe this is one to vote on, as building an nks template will delay some other feature.
What do people think are essential future features, really important paths for Avenger's evolution, that Manuel hasn't covered already?
Good question.May I ask if the new update will ad NKS support and possibility to select/change filter types by midi controllers?

Definitely my YES vote for "select/change filter types by/from midi controllers" in first place.kevvvvv wrote:DigiPro

NKS should naturally be present for such product, especially because it has so many parameters.
Now it is not possible to assign a midi controller to filter type, which kind halt the creativity flow for people which tend to use Avenger for experimentation. Especially as Avenger has so many filter types to explore
I know that this can mean some headache to its developer because of the internal software architecture. But this "should" (?) be solved by "striping" out the audio flow for a tiny 0,05ms when people change the filter. In that way the clipping that occurs when do filter changing will disappear.
That is at least a perception of how some other developers solved that for an (competitive) product.
