If you haven't already, update to FL Studio 12.4(.1) and check / update your drivers for your graphics card.
My guess is that Waves are using hardware gfx acceleration (OpenGL) - I had some problems with that (not only Waves) before, and found out that my problems were related to FL Studio and plugins using hardware gfx acceleration. Updating everything helped me to solve the problem
Just my two cents
Hope that helps - good luck.

I have the same problem with one (and only one) of the AIR Creative plugins that AKAI put up. I have not been able to fix it, which reminds me I should contact support.

Yeah I've heard of this happening before, unfortunately IO can't remember the solution, but it might be the graphics driver. Make sure that's u[p to date.
Also make sure all you Waves plugins are up to date as well, via Central. I think it works on Win 7

I have problems with other OpenGL plugins but doesn't stop there. My HP xw6600 doesn't show compatible with nVidia gt730. Had an FX 1800 but not enough horsepower for those type plugins. So was like 40% cpu on some settings(takes those down to 10%) and is xeon e5450 3.0 cpu 12mb cache. Now that I switched I get black screen even when sitting still and does throw error and could be due to windows 8 and direct X 11. I haven't been able to solve it. System not hot at all. Have tried like 10 different drivers. Have tried different resolutions. Nothing stops the very intermittent issue. My machine was to use openGL 3.0 which is compatible on card. Pita for sure.

Sounds like a job for Waves Tech Support then.
It's possibly an "i" you didn't dot, or some "t" you didn't cross.

Almost certainly related to the graphics card / drivers, Waves stuff can be really fussy there. A few years ago I abandoned my Radeon cards as they never worked with Waves - just a grey GUI as I recall - while GeForce was fine. Since then I've read of similar problems with various versions of graphics drivers.

Yeah I had a slight issue in Logic with Unfiltered Audio's screen draws. Occasionally selecting presets the UI would flash white very briefly.
Not a big deal. Nonetheless I thought I'd just look into it. They told me to disable the OpenGL option in the plugin. It works fine now.
Probably just an issue with the way Logic draws, how it prioritises the graphics card and how it even impliments the graphics card.
Waves issue would be a different but possibly subject to similar issues.
Glad to hear you got it all working

If you come here through a google search and still have the Problem in lets say FL Studio 11, the workaround is as follows (GfX-Related issue as stated above is the cause):
Load the Waveshell in FL (it will be black)
Click the Gear symbol of the Wrapper (options)
On the first (options) Page that you see select the option "DPI-Aware"
Click the Gear symbol again to return to the Plugin in the Wrapper (still black)
Close the Wrapper
Bring the Wrapper up again through the Mixer panel.
-- should be fixed. (Win7 x64, x32 and x64 VST version)

im having a problem where when i try to open certain files that contained this plugin, it shows up as a black box and fl studio says "The zeta+2 plugin can not be found", but if i open up a new channel with this, it works but i cant open older sessions with the already made sounds, i tried your method, but when i try to get the gear symbol to open the options it says "select a plugin from fl studio " so it wont load the zeta plug in from a existing session, i can only open it to make new sounds which i cant find what sound it was, im using the 64bit and im assuming when i made it , it was a 32 bit?
thx
