What would you recommend or the "Best" thing to recommend when starting a radio station?

I don't have much experience with broadcast but it likely depends on what you are trying to do. Are you mostly focusing on playback or do plan to do live segments? Are you trying to book time with an independent/public transmitter or do you want to work with an existing radio station? You'll likely need a mixer with some monitoring capabilities. I can't say what kind of mixer is ideal but when I search for "broadcast mixer" I get the same kind of results I would if I search for live sound or project studio.

If you are literally trying to set up your own transmitter and broadcast studio, there are probably forums and such that focus on those subjects. In that case probably the "best" thing to get is some kind of a broadcast license. In the US the FCC handles that kind of thing, I'm not sure how that works elsewhere.

Perhaps someone with more experience in the field can provide a more insightful response.

A license would be good to have or else it might be the most short lived radio station since the invention of radio :D
Win 10 -64bit, CPU i7-7700K, 32Gb, Focusrite 2i2, FL-studio 20, Studio One 4, Reason 10

And a more detailed plan than just "a radio station".

Well, ok.
But, analog or digital?
If you choose digital, UI need to be rideable in any lights configuration.
You may ending up way to stressed conflicting 8 vs 10 oz.
My 2 cents.

You could tune into the station with a radio?
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

At my workplace we have two analog and one digital.

A couple of years ago we had 5 coffeemakers and 14 employees.
