HI

Decided to buy Orion, have demoed it for a year now and I seem to use it on my internet PC all the time so, what the hell!

But no one seems to have it in stock, just my luck.

Does anyone know any UK outlets that have Orion for sale?

Thanks ... Flipper.

I got mine straight from Synapse. Congrats on deciding to purchase, Orion Platinum is quite a powerful tool in the hands of the insane! :-o  :o :D

Nice to know AudioMidi.com carries it too.

If the license were transferable I'd sell you mine. Atleast I don't think it's transferable.

I have been going through the same thing. When I last checked AudioMidi still had the older version, which means you still have to buy an upgrade.

There is no discount buying direct from Snyapse. Would you buy new synths direct from Native Instruments for list price plus shipping? I will not. Not if I can find someone selling it for a discount plus free shipping.

All I need to be happy is one more VSTi.

http://www.piedog.com seems to have it for 117 pounds.. but it might be the version 4..

HI

The reason to not buy from Synapse is Price - I mean we are talking almost 50% more, the discounted price in retail outlets is about £130 - which is a fantastic price to pay for a host with the most -whoops!

No, i figured i am using this so much more than Logic these days that I might just as well buy it, I simply sit in front of my internet PC lots more than my music PC - (since deciding to switch from logic) that perhaps IT will give me a kick up the proverbial to start composing rather than planning!

I had no luck when I CONTACTED Synapse about licence transfers in the past; they probably don't like them!

Go for it, man. You won't be disapointed. You've got some of the most prolific track makers here using it & we can all lend you a hand if needed.

Make sure you are getting V5.5 and not V4 that will cost you an extra XXX bux to upgrade

HI

Yes, thanks and $20 for a two hour video tutorial appears a bit pricey considering current exchange rates, no?

Krim, what is Synapse's policy on license transfers?
