feature request for pd2:

-mode (modal) sequencer in the harmonikum

add a third sequencer lane inside of the harmonikum, where we can sequence the modes.
(drop in a C phrygian chord in an C Major song for example)

Hi Thala,

i´m thinking about, but its very advanced stuff! Not technically (its easy to implement), more in the straight-concept, in this "do not confuse me way".

So far PDII has an easy, a normal and an expert mode... maybe i will implement something similar in the expert mode.

If the scale list were a simple drop-down it could presumably be an IC-Send target, no? The Key list already sort of works that way, though something deeper blew up shortly after I got that working. PANIC didn't help; had to close without saving.

I´m thinking about a solution with the flex-loop, or as mentioned with a third line for scale-stunts inside one flex. But in al later version.
What do you mean "PANIC does not work"? PANIC is just for hanging notes, but hanging notes should be deserted, at least really extrem seldom!
Do you have hanging notes "regularly"???

No, not having hanging notes regularly. It was only when I tried to automate the key selection in HARM+++ using an IC-Sending modulation that things went crazy, and Panic didn't help. I'd never clicked it before, hadn't needed to.

LOVING the latest beta with TWO sets of lanes; seems like there will be THREE in the final—WooHoo!:) And the per-lane randomizing, the any-lane any scale degree…too cool:) AND the RMX table in B-view:):)

Would love it if you could set the scale root key via MIDI input, or somehow be able to sequence that. Tried again to find it in the IC-Send dropdown, but couldn't. That would certainly be cool, too.

I do see the EXT switch; no doubt I should try running this inside a DAW, maybe my wish is already granted?

…and I seem to recall something somewhere about changing flexes with MIDI keys…does that apply here, or might it? That would be almost as useful!

Phrasendrescher 2 is to be release soon.
I believe they are be looking for beta testers.

I have been eyeing Phrasendrescher for a while but Version 2 may be the one that makes me buy it. If the developer sees this post perhaps they can tease us with the features.
