do you have to download EVERY single file to have the full instrument set when you have the full version?

If you want all the instruments then, yes, you do have to download all the stuff.

Because a single multi-gigabyte download would not be suitable for many people. Imagine you download the file and the download fails at the last moment. Your only alternative is to start again. The likelihood of a download problem will be proportional to the download size.

Lots of sounds library producers offer the downloads as multiple (smaller) files rather than single huge files. I much prefer it that way.

logic, yes, i prefer Spectrasonics' downloader for example. you start it and it continues where you left instead of clicking 15 times to downlaod and unpack...

Proprietry downloaders are unneccessary cruft and lockin.

View source, select links in the drop-down menu HTML, paste into download manager. Simples.

Since IK already installs an Authorization Manager, it would only seem logical to extend it with an optional front end for downloading and unzipping, as well as installing all the parts. Set the disk paths, check off what you want to install from a list, and hit go!

At this time there are no effects presets in Syntronik. I'll let the team know about that portion of the User Manual.

Aftertouch is coming in a version 1.1 update.

Ooh nice, how's the possible midi-mapping/automation directly from the DAW (rather than via a hardware controller) looking ?

I just became aware of Syntronik and downloaded the free version for Mac from my account.

Starting the installer, I couldn't find any option of storing the contents on an external disk.
Stuffing my laptop internal SSD with 1.73GB is out of the question. All my other sample libs and instruments (and they're many…) allow me to store the samples externally.

Will this option be introduced in Syntronik 1.1?

If not, I'm out, I'm afraid.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Do you have Sampletank? If so, Syntronik will install in the same folder tree (which may already be on an external if that's where your sample libraries are).

If you have Sampletank on your system drive and want to use a different disk for the Syntronik samples, you will need to move it manually and have Syntronik refer to it using symbolic links (junction points on Windows?).

Syntronik installed in my SampleTank folder on my secondary drive.
