I just emailed you guys about the keyboard browsing bug during search/tags in 1.2.0/1.2.1. Hoping you can fix it.msvs wrote:nice, sounds like directly taken from a movie

here is an example (not the best sorry!) how to quickly mangle a small melody (just a small play from me with a music box) and then granular'ed + added a small drumloop also in avenger + all internal effects.
you hear the music sample at the beginning which was used and all sounds were made excluding the drumloop

thats why i was so concerned about the possibilities and quality! but i think im pleased

I doesn't seem to be the velocity as it's still there even when I adjust the curves, and the pops is unrelated and unresponsive to increasing the microfade on the OSC, even all the way up to 6 ms. Seems to occur more frequently with bass sounds and patches. Not really sure what else to try at this point.

Have you tried increasing the buffer on your audio driver? Avenger can be quite CPU intensive.alexander_etxe wrote:I doesn't seem to be the velocity as it's still there even when I adjust the curves, and the pops is unrelated and unresponsive to increasing the microfade on the OSC, even all the way up to 6 ms. Those clicks are not CPU-related, I have often encountered those clicks in sample-based patches, it seems to be an erratic problem and only the devs will know what exactly the cause is. In the version before 1.2.0 the clicking issue was fixed, I'll check it out when I'm back in the studio next week.

Am I correct in noting that there seem to be no Granular-based presets in 1.0.2, just a nice collection of samples that auto-load into that engine?
Is there a way to load other factory samples or sound sources into that?

there are 32 new granular presets, just use the search function and activate the granular tags
You can however copy past OSC settings by clicking rightclick on the OSC tab. But only the osc settings, not their routings, external fx etc...
how should that work? If a preset has more than 1 osc? If the preset has different routings than the existing one. This can't and will not work, sorry. Is there any way to load a preset as an oscillator inside another preset, short of rebuilding it? Any copy/paste tricks that would make this easier? TIA!

Yes, upon further investigation, it seems to occur with sample-based patches - only on the Note On from the sequencer and not, interestingly enough, when I play it on my MIDI controller. Thanks for validating you know about this - thought I was going crazy. Tried everything else to mitigate - adjusting ASIO guard settings in C9, buffer size adjustments, different velocities on the note, prayers to Almighty Vishnu and his lil' dark poodle of doom...nothing. Hopefully they can fix this one quickly.Sampleconstruct wrote:Those clicks are not CPU-related, I have often encountered those clicks in sample-based patches, it seems to be an erratic problem and only the devs will know what exactly the cause is. Thanks, will figure something out:) Avenger is splendid—my favorite granular synth out of MANY others!msvs wrote:there are 32 new granular presets, just use the search function and activate the granular tags
