blah... sounds alright for a refill... the demos don't even come anywhere NEAR comparing to what i've heard of DFH2/DFH superior/BFD. yet another cry of "reason is all you need!" ... propellerheads are much like a fascist regime in their marketing.

It sounds good. At $99 I'd probably buy it, at $129 I'll think about it...

Why for instance, would you want a natural sounding drum track in an app that couldn't record real instruments? Let's see... pretend guitar playing with my kybd. sampler, pretend horn playing with my kybd. sampler... Hmmm? Seems a little offbase... Like they got tired of people saying Reason was only for dance music... Wish they'd get back to the matter at hand... Audio recording in Recycle, Sequencer upgrades, new FX... Uh Reason 3.0!

This might have been nice if they had done it BEFORE SonicReality released a bunch of drum refills. I was hoping for a polyphonic pattern sequencer.

whoa, big words.neverwhere2012 wrote:... propellerheads are much like a fascist regime in their marketing.
anyway I don't get the fuzz. NN-xt also has a random sample alternator so...I've seen sampler less suited for real instruments. As a edrummer and reason user, this fits nicely...I never made dance/trance/techno, I may use sampled instruments as well as wonderfully alive malstrom patches and, though I'm VERY curious about a v3, I still feel the app in the 2.5 form has lots to offer.

It's still my favorite app... But, I haven't wanted to make natural sounding drums since I got out of my last band... that drummer was a pain in the ass! besides, to me, It seems sort of ridiculous to make electronic music... but try and make the drums sound like a human drummer?
