Controller pick up mode?

Couldn't find it, just wanted to use my controller with waveform.. As I don't have motor faders or encoders I need to set in pick up mode

Help would be nice

Is it usb input? I think you have to enable in the midi tab, before it will show up in the controller tab.

hello, yes it is..the problem is not that it doesn't show up... i can't select pick up mode anywhere, so my faders and knobs in the software dont jump around because the value of the hardware is different if you select a different plugin for example... or the mixer levels get destroyed..in pick up modes this won't happen..as the value just changes if the controller value is close or the same as the software value..

I don't know what controller pick up mode is either. Perhaps it has a different name in Waveform/Tracktion. What does it do?

I don't have one either, but can see the issue. You have a knob in the middle, and you select a bank that uses that knob as volume on track 1. However volume in the DAW for that track is at 90%. Touch the knob, and the volume drops to 50%, when you intended to bump up the volume just a touch.. I presume pick-up mode would assume a "differential" setting rather than an absolute value.

Yes, this isn't a feature that we currently support unfortunately. For advanced parameter controls like this we usually suggest using a more complete standard such as MCU or Automap but we understand that that requires specialised hardware.
