Let me put this clear enough so that even an ass like yourself can understand it.pdxindy wrote:In other words, what you say cannot be trustedwagtunes wrote:Yeah because saying "I got this library for this really awful synth" is good business sense.Examigan wrote:

There are only 2 things that matter when selling a sound library.
1) How the potential customer feels about the synth. If he doesn't like the synth to begin with, he isn't a potential customer regardless of anything else.
2) How he feels about the sound demos I put up for the patches I made.
3) How he feels about the price that I'm charging for those patches.
If he likes the synth, and he likes the sounds and he feels the price is fair, he will probably buy the library. If any of those things do not meet his satisfaction he will most likely NOT buy the library.
How I feel about anything is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT.
I could hate every single synth I make a library for. Doesn't matter as long as I put out the best product that I can.
That much I can promise that I do. I may not always succeed in putting out a library that the majority of people feel is good, but it's not from lack of effort. In fact, because I had so much trouble getting sounds out of Hive that I liked, I worked harder on that synth than just about any other. And yet, in spite of that, Hive was a poor seller for me. So maybe, just maybe, not as many people love Hive as other synths.
Now, again, you have been told by Hink to stop this crap. If you DON'T stop, I'm going to start reporting posts.
I hope we understand each other.

So I take it you've been displeased with the libraries you've purchased from me.Aliens wrote:That's how I'll see it from here on in.pdxindy wrote:In other words, what you say cannot be trustedwagtunes wrote:Yeah because saying "I got this library for this really awful synth" is good business sense.Examigan wrote:

Actually, I have no idea if he's ever purchased a library from me or not. I'm assuming he has because of his statement, inferring that he will no longer purchase any. I mean do you really think I have a receipt that says Aliens on it? All you guys are totally anonymous to me. I have no clue who any of you are and as far as I'm concerned, I prefer it that way.Numanoid wrote:Revealing your customer base? I think that is what makes KVR so special, it got sezt, if we all behaved like Kraftwerk Robots in the end everything would be rather boring.chk071 wrote:I don't know what's more sad to see. Know what man? I've reached the point where I don't give a crap anymore. These guys were ordered by Hink to knock it off but they insist on poking the bear. Well I'm not going to be anybody's punching bag.chk071 wrote:I don't know what's more sad to see. This whole thing started because of ONE LINE I SAID.
"Hive sounds thin and lifeless to me."
God forbid you insult the KVR gods and give an opinion on a synth that isn't shared by the "hive" mind, pun very much intended. But the best part of this night for me was a PM I got from another member thanking me for my honesty in this thread. Made my whole day.
So let them keep it up. Eventually suspensions are gonna be coming and it isn't gonna be me.

Know what? I no longer find the humor in this place, not that I ever did. And I'll stop there before I say something I can't take back.Numanoid wrote:I think that is what makes KVR so special, it got sezt, if we all behaved like Kraftwerk Robots in the end everything would be rather boring.chk071 wrote:I don't know what's more sad to see. Don't let it darken your day, keep your sense of humour
