I prefer this method over Apple, they would not bother with hiring via KVR, they just bought up Camel Audio instead :P
You forgot Emagic :x
I'm a victim of both events :x :x :x :x :x

I was just hoping they are also looking for people to fix long-standing bugs. The only effect I've seen so far of updates "getting ready for creators update" is it killed my previous version of Adobe Elements Bundle and forced me to buy elements bundle 15, crossing fingers that MS doesn't manage to kill that one as well. Which helped Adobe's income stream but I was quite happy with the old version of elements bundle.

Maybe MS could make a revenue stream by selling a "windows forever" version guaranteed no new features forever, except properly maintained into the future and outstanding bugs fixed? I'd be more likely to pay money for something like that. A truly stable platform. Old Gramps said, "Son that sore ain't never gonna heal up if you keep picking at it!" :)

Back to the actual topic after all this Windows bashing: I'd like to know why would anyone possibly want to live in the Trump-country if they are intelligent and competent enough to have a choice?

I also think microsoft want some developer to create the new version of SongSmith :)
I think you're right...
Imagine yourself helping unlock creative expression for people who have something to say musically, but don’t have the skills or vocabulary to make it happen. You will prototype ideas, technologies, and techniques to realize this dream.
:bang:

Jobs was right, just a company wide problem of bad taste.
Hope I'm wrong, and they put out some great stuff, but it sounds like Songsmith 2.0

Microsoft bashing? Who is? All of a sudden you can resize windows from all sides, hey, Apple? And is that a two button mouse? How original.
And what's that? - suddenly thousands of software titles no longer work? Wonderful! Just buy everything again if you can... :hihi:

Interested, since I wrote the whitepaper on Windows 10 for pro audio and have been building for Windows pro audio for a long time now.

Lol they are hundreds of thousands, I don't think the hiring guy is connected in any way with support and bug fixing, or product planning

Guys, first fix your Windows, get rid of all the crap bloatware, the spying bullshit, and return to the simplicity (but with security) of XP. Where the user is the master, and decides what goes and what doesn't go. Then and only then lift up your heads and look people eye to eye and ask for the best of the best. First tidy up your house, then ask others to come and have party there.
Fully agree.
Or at least create a tool that prepares your windows for audio, disabling all the intrusive apps in the background that eat up resources or generate CPU peaks.
I had to do it myself and now my windows is crippled.
My sounddesign: Synth1/Ex5/D-50 patches https://goo.gl/zE3pkk
My stuff: W10x64i7 15" laptop, Reaper/Cantabile3+Synth1+Avenger on stage+NordStage2+Samson Graphite 49

If a directory contains images or movies or audio files or whatever, I still want it to ALWAYS and ONLY display DETAILS VIEW with NAME, DATE, TYPE and SIZE. Sometimes they almost get it right then an update messes it up again. If there was one low-level system dialog to specify this always and forever and windows would never forget, I'd be much happier.
This is the exact reason why I use the TotalCommander instead of window's Explorer.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image

If Windows comes with movie editor, why not audio editor? Music producton is not as mainstream as movie production yet, but potentially it could be.

Thankz Zaphod. Probably neither more nor less effective than any other random method. About equally futile as writing a letter to bill gates. :)

Lol I know there are hundreds of thousands. Which makes it more absurd that they can't find time for basic stuff like user-adjustable system font/size.

Or that they are so hell-for-leather on some creators update with large probability of total suckage-- That they casually break the older adobe elements userbase without even slowing down or looking back. "What was that bump? Did you feel a bump? Nah just a pothole. Push the pedal to the metal we are late to our update!" :)

Am being sarcastic but such behavior made me completely give up on apple. Shame to see all OS companies going silly on us. I really do "in general" quite like win10.

("The Raymond Chen Camp and The MSDN Magazine Camp. " part).

Apparently people like "Raymond Chen" is old fashion, based on the premise that stable operating systems and other related boring stuff don't bring revenue.
