i bought orion straight from synapse (pro) then upgraded to platinum also right from synapse. if you can find it cheaper, cool, but i was satisfied right from the start as it isn't all that expensive anyways....oops, just went to their site, $298 for plat, $149 for pro, $149 for upgrade pro to plat. i didn't purchase in one big chunk, tho, bought pro then upgraded, i think maybe i got a deal on the upgrade, i forget.
anyways, worth every nickel, and if you already know you like the demo, you will definitely like pro or plat. that's my too lengthy opinion

i'd rather have a mullet than a comb-over.

Of course the other side of that coin is "Would you stock a product if the manufacturer was selling it at a huge discount on the internet?" So companies who expect to see their products in stores are pretty much forced to sell it at list or no-one will bother stocking it. At least when you buy it from Synapse, most of the money goes to funding development.Rabid wrote:Would you buy new synths direct from Native Instruments for list price plus shipping?

Orion is not that software,
What you will or want to transfer.
If it'll be so in the future,
'Rich' is clever, have no torture!

It seems to me, audiomidi.com has not it (shame on they), and where OPlat is too cheap, that may be version 4 (or under).
If you can buy it directly from Synapse, 'Rich will be Rich' to develop the softwares.
