Can Shortcircuit do round-robin sampling?

I have been playing with Shortcircuit and I can't figure out how to do this. I do see that I can assign different samples to velocity zones, so then I could try to emulate round-robin variation this way; however, when I get the machine gun effect it's on rhythm boxes and things with no velocity variation in the first place.

Also, some old rhythm boxes, like the Maestro Rhythm King, EKO Compurhythm or the Vox Percussion King, had a snare trigger that rolled when you held it down. This kind of tight loop especially needs round-robin, and I don't think the velocity approach would work.

I thought maybe I could set Shortcircuit's LFO to random, and somehow use that to trigger different samples. What do you think?

This screen shot on their website links an LFO to 'mm slot #4' but I don't know what that means. I would ask on their forum, but their forum and knowledge base appear to be offline.

Shortcircuit doesn't do round robin unfortunately. Just layering of sounds.

As far as the pictue you have the MM Slot #4 destination means Modulation Matrix #4. What this is the #4 modulation slot in the matrix. So LFO 3 is modulating the 4th slot (Step LFO 1 to f2:amount). In essence you modulate the other modulation slots.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think there's a filter in Shortcircuit that would best emulate round robin? I tried LPF but that didn't seem to do it. Basically, something set to a random LFO that would offset the sample just enough to avoid the machine gun effect.
