Yes, I experience this also.

Are you also working in Reaper?
I don't have it as standalone.

Hi,
which expansion would you recommend for Techno, Tech House, like Drumcode for example?
I like to tweak presets, and the Standard presets of avenger are in my opinion netter for big room dem.

Instantiated Avenger, tweaked the granular envelope (during playback), the ui became laggy and it unfortunately instantly crashed with a big noise burst

LOL!!! Man, I love little easter eggs like this. Reminds me back in the day before Adobe bought Syntrillium's Cool Edit Pro (and renamed it Audition). There was a Pong game hidden in the settings.

I've only been following this thread a week or two, but the constant updates, dev participation, the addition of granular synthesis, and now 8-bit xp is really superb.

I think I'm gonna have to buy Avenger now

It's fixed !
Just set your display quality in the sys settings to a different setting and it's fixed.

You can copy inside a preset but nut outside to an other preset?

Hi,

I would like to sample a workstation synth which synthesis is based on samples. I want to sample it's raw waveforms in multiple octaves. But also the best presets, with and without fx section, to mangle it in Avenger's granular engine later.

So I am looking for a software which helps in such a workflow. Do you have a suggestion for me which software is good for such a task?

I am also looking for the right audio format. Is SFZ the way to go here? There is the autosampler plugin in Apple DAWs, maybe I'll give it a try (but I think it does not support SFZ).

Does Avenger support SFZ?

No, no SFZ support in Avenger. Use the Autosampler in MainStage, is the easyest to do. By the way, it looks like if you want to use the samples as regular samples but also in the granular engine, you must do two imports in Avenger, one with sampler mode enabled and one in granular mode (pretty much the same way Alchemy works).
