Do not ever (ever, ever) use the words "fact" and "better" in the same sentance like that. Temperature of the air ONLY effects the speed of sound that travels within it.

...or was that wink critical?

not that i want to even argue about this but surely if it starts effecting the speed of the sound that will effect how it is heard yes i know it would only be a noticable difference to maybe suoerman or similar but anyway im off to test the theory in my minilab.
even you can test it and experience it, my dear friend,
here you go:

take a portable CD-player,
empty your fridge,
jump into your fridge,
put on the headphones,
start a CD you like and really know the sound of,
close the fridge,

and you´ll know how the cold affects music

:x:hihi:

My favorites: Maxell Music 80 minute gold for a solid and balanced high-to-mid-to-bottom and wide sparkle • Maxell 80 Minute Pro (blue) for robust low end, detail and clean immediacy • Fuji 80 Minute Audio for a wetter sound (smoothes out the edges). • Memorex Music 80 minutes is very nice • Taiyo Yuden 700 MB are close, the Mitsui and BASF are in there, Apogees has a nice width but lacks warmth, Sony could be better... experiment and see what you prefer!

priceless

...thanks for the link.
