Hey there, can any one recomend vocal packs without lyrics? Im after vocal phrases by top notch singers in the flavour of bluesy/rnb/etc. Prefferably without lyrics. Thing that can be used to sprinkle in a hiphop/rnb track
Ive also looked at ppg phonem to be able to play vocal phrases since i have a quite expressive playing style on the synth. But phonem strikes me as a bit too demanding regarding tweaking, too much micromanagement. But I may be wrong. Would output exhale be able to do this? Any other alternatives to phonem?
Thanks in advance for any tips!
(Whenever I do a search i usually find edm vocals or rap lyrics, not at all what Im looking for, seems like its a jungle out there)
Any advice on search terms to use to find what Im after would also be good since Im not a native english speaker.

I think Realivox Ladies might be exactly what you're looking for. Other options would be things like Ethera Soul Edition for Kontakt, but again that's got a lot of stuff with lyrics.
Have you tried Plogue Alter/Ego? It's not as labor-intensive as Phonem, but has good live control over things like vibrato and dynamics, and can do a broad range of vocal tones. It can't really do hoarse vocals (well, aside from all-out death metal growl, but...) which would be nice for soul, but if you set it up with velocity controlling glide, expression controlling volume (and a bit of HF sizzle) and mod wheel controlling vibrato, you can get decent results. I even made a video explaining that.

Big thanks! I'll experiment with Alter/Ego... Had no idea exactly what it was, must have confused it with chipspeech. The other one sounded interesting for sure, question is if it's a bit to dry/classical sounding, I would ideally want to try before buy to make sure it can do the things I want.

I think some of the Ladies are more classical, others more pop or soul. I think Realitone have a good refund policy, if you find they are not what you need.
