I come from free vst world and i am on a tight budget for commercial ones - it's investment in virtual tools, their usefulness and future development - so considering all factors - which one of vst synths you own you think absolutely deserve it's price and which one doesn't?

I don't know if you would inlcude bundles, but by far the best value out there is NI Komplete. The individual synths aren't priced all that great, but the standard komplete package is very cheap for what you get. NI Reaktor on it's own is probably the next best value. You can sometimes find one or the other in the market place for pretty cheap. Especially if someone is selling a komplete version that is one or two version behind, it still has lots of stuff but will be super cheap.
Synths on their own, it depends on what you're looking for and also if you can wait for sales or second hand postings. ?As far as very versatile synths Zebra is pretty good value, Synthmaster as well and the latter goes on sale and sometimes you can pick it up pretty cheap in the market place.
If you're looking for all in one with a DAW and you're on Mac, you can't beat the Logic package and it's synths. I would easily buy that bundle for PC without logic if it were available.

Komplete for sure is one of the best value wise.
Individual stuff: U-he ACE, little cheap monster.
Stuff you can get on sale very cheap: AIR instruments, Sugarbytes stuff too. NI stuff gets a 50% on black Friday (wait for it to get the best deals).
DIVA, Serum, Zebra, Synthmaster, all are great but more expensive, worth their tag but there are better deals

Reaktor at $199 is a no brainer. It used to cost $499 back in the day..
If you look on the Marketplace, you might find it cheaper used.
The only problem with Reaktor that I can think of is that it has gotten a bad reputation for being extremely difficult to use. This isn't entirely true, it has a bit of a learning curve, but it's not hard to use IMO. You will need to sit down and watch tutorials on the basics of how to open ensembles, save presets etc..
The value for money in Reaktor is immense. The DSP in Reaktor is pretty much cutting edge and if you're not a builder than you'll be glad to know there is a HUGE library full of very very useful and unique instruments.
If I had to start over and couldn't afford my expensive toolkit that I currently own, I would definitely start with Reaktor and maybe Bitwig.

I don't buy cheap stuff
That being said, I bought Harmor for about 1/3 price with multiple disocunts. Also I own Xpand! 2 which was once on sale for 1 euro, but I got it in a bundle with Avance keyboard.

Yeah i have Xpand! 2 and Orchestral Companion Strings for 1 euro too ,but this is promotion ...i mean regular price for example Synthmaster One cost like 60eu - Sylenth1 is still 139 eu and comparing i am not sure Sylenth1 still is on the right price but i love it and want to develop set for it so buy it - my idea was do you think that some stuff are overrated and overpriced like Avenger or Rapid compared let say to Serum but other worth more than the money like SM1

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?

New upcommers ANA2 and Viper are interesting as well - Spire is good synth but try to add Synthmaster fx ON to see what happened with the sound - everybody has different understanding about how his music should sound and take synth that sound this way but sometimes after period of usage man can say that some synth isn't usable for what he/she is after - for example i have license for Rayblaster and never find right place for it - Firebird is opposite - pop, edm, whatever its good everywhere just need better fx section and more modulators.Cheerz

For me Zebra is the most bang for the buck. I know there is a learning curve for Zebra but once you learn how to tweak it the sky is the limit. I am right now working on a progressive trance track where I almost only use Zebra. I can get sweet sounding 80s EP sounds and organs as well. Can't wait for Zebra 3. I'm sure it will be even more interesting.

Would be nice to own but I can't see myself paying $500 for it. It might be worth it but it's still way too expensive especially without a trial. Zebra 2 is affordable and you can find thousands of sounds online for it. I really like how easy it is to automate literally every knob and the x/y pads are nice as well. If I could only keep one vst, that would be it.el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:Omnisphere

Best bundle value - Komplete Standard
Best individual synth value - That's an easy one - Synthmaster. I paid all of $50 for it on sale. It's equal or better than just about any synth at any price.

Bundles are usually the way to go, especially if on sale. That normally happens just before a HUGE update.
Best bundles for very little money imo:
Arturia V5 - the wealth of quality synths you get is crazy
Komplete - for the sheer amount of content (or should that be "kontent"?
)
The Korg Legacy collection - for the 80s/90s fan these are essential.
Omnisphere really has no limits and I'm a very happy owner of all but one Spectrasonics product. But they're price and even with their possibilities, there are better deals out there
I don't have Zebra but given the fact that it has been praised to death for so many years must mean something, right
