Custom channel (testing our new S-kernels algorithm, currently debugging)
I don't think that can be right - e.g. SSL (=Solid State Logic) a tube console? I think he must have mixed it up somehow...
(the Gates should be tube, the Neve perhaps too? - and ADT should be solid state, I think)

Yeah I guess they're the list of consoles emulated, just not necessarily in the A-G order of the VST.

Just an FYI - I don't think Neve ever designed tube gear.

Funky there were early tube consoles that were made by Neve.

Very little talk around this plugin, no one taking the plunge?

There's very little incentive to be honest to throw down $40 on a whim.

It would be nice to see a freebie from SKNote. Pull out the pre-amp from the channel!

I need a hook :D

This is NOT related to Strip.

While Strip is a set of emulations of "the sound" of consoles, plus a channel strip (and is currently being updated), this one is an emulation of the whole channel strip from a great console. Two different concepts. Which one, is easily found out.

No convolution, we don't use convolution, never ever. I hate convolution as I get bored in half a minute. No convolution. Not even for reverbs ;)

Dig, dig... ;)

Aha found it (well a bit of it)...

It is strange how much fun from such a simple concept. Less is more? :)

It is also quite unique. We had fun discovering the "all buttons in" oprion for the compression/limiting buttons. A stronger action, different curve, intermediate behaviour.

Please note that we are NOT affiliated in any way.

Can someone please provide feedback on this emulation... crickets...

What's the return policy?

How long do I have to decide whether its for me or not? A month

Right, I have this. I don't know how best to describe it other than it's very versatile and sounds great. There are some tweaks that I hope Quinto will look at, but even then, it sounds great. The pre-amp option is very (over?) saturated but when you turn it off, suddenly the music sounds dull and boring. The compressor is lovely, it has some good snap and punch to it and the eq section works really well too. Sorry, this probably doesn't help, you have to try it yourself, I guess. Talking of which...

Don't like it, get a refund. Never done it myself but plenty of people have done it with no hassle.

I believe that Quinto has said 7 days.

Quinto has also said he is working on a demo system, but, well, who knows when that will be. I'll just say, if you're really interested, buy it knowing you can get a refund if you don't like it.
A bit fried in the higher freqs

This Apee channelstrip is really good. Some fast eq moves, adjust the Threshold/Gain and amount of Compression on either of the two fastest settings and you've got yourself a warm, thick, naturally controlled signal. Try to apply the limiter too (all in), sometimes works wonders!

Out of all the plugs i've used the last 15 years -algo and acqua- this strip is the one i've gotten the best results in the shortest amount of time. Works on channels and busses.
Dub it up blacker than dread

Thank you both for the feedback, much appreciated
