Well, yeah, me, too; that was the main thing that kept me interested and waiting for a sale just like this one for all these years:)
I often really enjoy his videos. Now I'm waiting for a similar sale on SL's big cinematic guitar library; guess I'm well and truly hooked.

I bought Arpology and I have to say I'm really happy with my purchase. There's a ton of stuff and I love the MIDI drag-and-drop to layer the sounds or use it with other libraries. I totally recommend it at this price, there's a lot of creative possibilities with it.

Well, I like it too. Not into EDM at all, more of a singer-songwriter goes organic and orchestral. Essentially, these SampleLogic libs bring me to musical ideas, and that's why I use them that much. Particularly arp instruments like Arpology, but also the newer Rhythmology and Electro City. Their arp movements often take me places I would never have gone by myself, and that's what musical creation is about in my book. SampleLogic can be a tad expensive as it's geared towards professional use, but these sales share the love towards music loving amateurs like me.

Happy to report that it's very easy to capture Arpology's MIDI out in realtime if you've got Ableton Live, for driving any other plugin, recording/export, and if you're on a Mac, for sending out in realtime via the IAC driver, which is how I use it to drive native and other AU's in Logic—which is my default DAW—such as Sculpture and Alchemy. Just today a quick, simple video on how to set this up was posted about another Kontakt library (another one I've been waiting to go on deep sale, once again for its MIDI script more than its samples) linked below. I've done this before with several other VSTs that stream MIDI out, which only specific MIDI FX plugins can do in Logic (hope THAT changes soon!), but hadn't tested Arpology until today. The sound was great even though some of the recorded MIDI notes seemed like they weren't cutting off properly. But the unaltered MIDI recording played back very well through all the Au synths I tried it on. Incidentally, the rather splendid new MIDI-scripted device from szcz, Cracklefield, worked beautifully in this setup, too.

For me, the IAC driver solution never worked flawlessly.
Of course, ymmv.
That said, using plug ins that let you load VST versions of Kontakt/Reaktor within Logic, e.g. Blue Cat Audio Patchwork and New Sonic Arts Freestyle,
let midi generated events pass thru instruments.
Mutools Mux will do it too with no problem adding some pretty interesting twists.
Mux is VST, meaning you'll need one of the other two cited before to use it.

Thanks for those, nordickvr; they sounded familiar, and a few clicks revealed I'd once before checked them all out, and they do sound very interesting, esp Mux, worth re-reading about.

But together they're an awfully large additional investment for this function, considering I've already got Live, and while that route may not be working flawlessly for this, it's certainly working well enough for me not to think it needs another $100+ thrown at it:)
But if I see one or another on SALE some day…ya'never know!

Doesn't Bidule also let you run VSTs inside Logic? I recall a familiar little loop in which I check out Patchwork/Freestyle and decide Bidule seems more powerful…and then don't ever get it, either:)

Also, I keep hearing that any time now, Logic will FIX the no-MIDI from AU's problem… (another part of that loop:))

That would be nothing less then awesome, of course.
Re Bidule, like you I'v had an eye on this one since a moment now.
It defenitely looks powerful.
Re Logic, I'm sure you know about Numerology.
Since Logic add the "learn plug-in parameter" function,
it really opens up for serious CCs modulation when used in conjunction.
Numerology has a lot to offer re arpeggiator/generative/random functionalities too.

I got the Arpology as part of that huge "get everything" sale they had last year that also included cinematic guitars/Keys, Morphestra, Xosphere and Bohemian for $499. Arpology is the only one I do not use. Basically, it just seems like they arpeggiated patches from some of their other libraries and made an seperate one. For $99 it's mildly interesting if you do not own additional Sample Logic libraries.

No, sorry, haven't…yet; still too expensive for me. Besides, with Arpology AND Cracklefield still warm on my plate, I've got plenty to occupy myself:)

I must say, Cracklefield was one I dithered over quite a lot but have since come to really enjoy. The many demo videos from the dev, while impressively deep function-wise, all seemed to sound the same to me, randomly robotic no matter which functions were invoked. Since I've had it, it's become clear that it can be quite easily massaged to sound anything but. Plus, its MIDI-drag setup is the best I've ever seen, not just grabbing a bar or two to loop like Arpology, but really recording whatever you perform, up to something like 100,000 events, which could amount to as much as 20 minutes with normal-ish settings, per the manual. Plus, it's also got an arp mode as deeply implemented as every other aspect. All around, it's one of the most amazing bits of Kontakt scripting I've ever encountered.

Yes, that's another one on my Bidule-like list: look at often, but always eventually pass over. Cool that it's already an AU MIDI FX, for sure!

I didn't bite for RG. It appears I may already have tools that do most or all of what it does, plus more.
For example, take a look at Audiofier's Sequi2r Synth and Sequi2r EX. They are really deep.
Also, I can't say enough about Cracklefield. It's a gem and then some.

What's the one you use the most?

I'd say it's Bohemian. Very musical stuff in there - and playable too, not just one finger arps or evolving pads
