Hello, Atilla! I had a technical moment. How to upgrade from version 3.3 to 3.4 beta? I just do not have such a button / where it was before. Tried to reinstall the program, nothing has changed. How to be?

Hi Malkutus,
I removed the "Check For Beta Updates" button from the stable release...
If you have the original download links (ending with ".php") you can add the word "beta" before ".php" to get the beta download links. I will send them to you in PM. From the beta version you can check for updates and download them on the 'Support' page, as on your screenshot.
You can install the stable version and the beta version side by side. Please note that the beta version uses the same settings as the stable version. Based on my past experience the beta version is solid to be used for every-day work. There can be smaller issues in new functionality, but not serious crashes.
Thanks,
Attila
EDIT: I just realized this was your first post on KVRAudio. Welcome to this forum!

Hi,
When a track height is small, it is sometime very difficult to select phrases. For example, a bass phrase may contain one or two notes and one must click precisely on the notes (when the track height is small, it can be one pixel high : tough to click...).
Is there an option that allow to select a phrase when clicking on the grey box around a phrase ? It would be a great time saver !!
Thanks a lot !
Gotacki.

Hello lulukom,
thanks for the crash report. The phrases are loaded in a separate thread which takes some time. At the moment please do not change the 'custom phrases' folder until the phrases have been fully loaded. When you change the folder, all phrases are unloaded and loaded from the new location. I'll fix this situation soon because it should not crash.
Thanks!

At the moment there is not much improvement, just the modified 'circle of fifths' and you can display a chord builder under the 'circle of fifths' chart optionally (screenshot below). And two fixes. Maybe I'll upload a new beta by the end of this week.

In the past minor updates (e.g. v3.3 -> v3.31 ) included new features but that was not a good idea. Mixing bug fixes and new features - which could also contain bugs - did not prove to be successful. New minor updates had to be released to fix problems in the previous minor updates
The new features will be part of v3.4, with a planned release in December.
Today lots of new things were added, like coloring by "distance from tonal center" (for both the CoF and chord selector) and various improvements for dropping MIDI files and chord progressions. The development goes faster than ever. So this time you won't have to wait 4-6 months for the next update.
Thanks,
Attila

I was just trying the rcCTRL out on a new instrument.
If I put a manual keyswitch in and it works fine but if i use one with rcCTRL it holds the keyswitch down until play stops.
Not sure if I missed something since I last used rcCTRL ?
