Whatever is being done here, port over to ALL other plugins. I usually find wet/dry knobs hurting the original signal and run plugins on a bus 100% wet. First time I can recall enjoying a wet/dry knob.thelizard wrote:@mt3: There's a bit of background phase compensation going on. We have a lot of rules for low frequencies, transient spikes, etc. There are some instances where it will always "fail" (listed in the manual... in quotes because some of the failure states are quite awesome), but we've tried to keep it as stable as possible for most conditions.
Also, the block diagram in the manual shows the 3 fx are serially chained. Is this always true? The UI reads as if the fx were operating in parallel. Note that I didn't audibly hear this, especially while using the preset with 3 filters for low, mid, and high!

Added a few more unrepresentative tracks. Same setup as before.

I miss the days when we could have a single thread about a plugin without people pimping their soundsets for said plugin.

Yes, it's always true that the three effects run in serial. The concept of serial here is a bit different since we're working in the frequency domain and not the time domain. Here, the spectral data is generated in the Analysis section. That data is passed through sequentially between the effects, so each effect receives the modified bin data from the previous effect. The time domain audio signal isn't produced until the inverse Fourier transform occurs in the output section.
I really enjoy the demos that you posted!

Yeah I think it's great that people contribute with demos. That's what makes a great musicians community here at Kvr, IMO.

I caved like a house built by Stevie Wonder and bought it. UA has really been cranking out irresistible plugins.Soarer wrote:Yeah I think it's great that people contribute with demos. That's what makes a great musicians community here at Kvr, IMO.

Used spec ops on every synth track to create this drone.

Thank you for this plugin.
Another great piece.
...
Being overwhelmed by its sonic possibilties combined with the amazing ease of operation I wasn't able to react to its release until now.
Cheers,

Having a problem mapping this to my Kore 2 controller. When I map any knob it just zeros the param, it looks like it's conflicting with midi data from my keyboard as when I disable the midi in from the keyboard it stops doing this. is this plugin hardwired for certain CC's?

Ah, good to hear. You can't imagine how reluctant and hesitant I was to say how full-bodied the highpass, lowpass, and bandpass in serial sounded damn good!thelizard wrote:Thanks!mt3 wrote: Whatever is being done here, port over to ALL other plugins. So what does it mean to run fx in parallel in they freaky frequency domain? Is the concept of mixing two signals preserved in the frequency domain?

That's unusual! No, there aren't any hardwired CC's that I know of. Is Kore 2 being used inside of another host or as standalone?aMUSEd wrote:Having a problem mapping this to my Kore 2 controller.
