Looks like maybe they'll be doing a price break if you were at SX2 already and going to SX3 vs if you're at SX1 going to SX3. Steinberg will have more info come next Tuesday. Looks like someone jumped the gun getting the info out there.

So here's hoping! I got my fingers crossed.

And I got the info by simply calling them up. Certainly better than speculating on a forum.

Good news Devon! I was getting a little peved off at steinberg for charging the SX2 owners/upgraders the same price as SX1 people. Completely unfair! Thanks for lettin' us know.

Which from what I was told is NOT set in stone yet (the prices). It's still being discussed.

Hopefully. Problem is, that you can already order the upgrade for 149,- €. I think those who did might get very angry when they see the prices fall next tuesday...

us americans are a whiney bunch..
we think we are the sun and moon, and things should be priced seperatly for us.. and sometimes we get better prices cause of this.

othertimes.. we get half assed versions of the real thing (WRX)

Why? I would hope most places don't actually charge your card until it actually ships. If the price changes before it ships, it won't make a difference.
