I have a question, does the behaviour of the delay/feedback react dynamically to the input level? In the manual it just talks about saturation from the input stage. I feel like they do, I don't own a hardware unit though so i'm not sure what's the 'proper' behaviour there.
Another question, if I sync the tape heads to say, 1/8D, the tape heads obviously still sound different, they are all operating on different delay lengths despite being synced, right? If I dial in a delay tempo sync in Echoboy and then switch it off, it goes to the previously synced delay time in ms, which is cool because you can dial in a synced delay quickly and then adjust the delay time manual to get little offsets, 'off the grid' swing etc. I think that would also be useful here.

Yes, it does affect the feedback slightly. It changes according to which tape is selected.dubguy99 wrote:I have a question, does the behaviour of the delay/feedback react dynamically to the input level? No, when in sync each head can be synced to a different value. The fixed length ratio between the heads works only when not in sync. Also, since each head has a different (and very limited) range, it's not possible to convert to ms when switching form synced (at least, most of the time and probably not for each head). However, we are adding a variable speed knob in the upcoming rear panel, so you'll be able to offset the synced rate(s).dubguy99 wrote:Another question, if I sync the tape heads to say, 1/8D, the tape heads obviously still sound different, they are all operating on different delay lengths despite being synced, right? Guys, I wanted to do a proper announcement for the beta, but I'm afraid it has to wait.
My first daughter was born yesterday! I still can't believe it.
I'll try to answer all the beta request messages asap.
