Help!!! I don't have a desktop...

After removing mywebsearch bar with jv16 power tools, I no longer have a desktop, start menu, and taskbar. When my computer starts there is just a blue desktop with nothing on it. alt+ctrl+del brings up task man, and from there I can open iexplorer, however windows explorer and explorer won't open. I've tried restoring the registry entries that I removed with jv16, windows update, windows knowledge base, windows recovery console, starting in safe mode(still no desktop) and administrator, sfc /scannow, I’ve even ran ad aware and Norton anti-virus and still nothing!
Since I have my comp optimized for audio I have no restore points.
I believe that jv16 removed some of my windows explorer registry point when it removed mywebsearch. I remember it looking for a file called bar.exe and then removing the associated reg entries. If someone ...Anyone can help me out, I would forever be in dept to you. The last thing I want to do is reinstall windows

If you use ALT-TAB, are there some error screens popping up from behind you blue screen?
I've had that once, after confirming the error by clicking on OK, windows finally loaded...
TIP for the future; I strongly suggest to use some kind of backup application.

Hi,
There are similar problems discussed here, I don't know whether it's related to your problem but it may give you some ideas:

I don't suppose you have got any custom Windows "skinners" like WindowBlinds installed have you?
I know it sounds odd but another option may be to try to install an application that will restore "mywebsearch" (tricky with no desktop, granted!).
Good Luck!
Matt
