Simple wave/mp3 player

Hi all
OK, I will start by saying I use VSTacks to play some nice vst synths etc, I also use Cubase Ai8 (on another pc) What I would really, really would like, is to find something, a plugin for VStacks that will play back tracks I have made in Cubase, i.e mp3s, wav etc, so I can use as a kind of backing track. Is there such a thing available?

A couple of years ago there were a new VST for playing back reference tracks - just load them and you can shift between to calibrate your ears.

Then depending on how you mix output to could work just as well for your purpose.

Sadly I don't remember name, but searching for something about reference might give you some hits.
