I sent an email to NomadFactory (where I originally got SonicSweet) and they sent me an activation code and a download link.
I haven't installed yet - but I assume it will work.
They really aren't making this too well known - are they?

My serial number for v3 worked to activate all of v4 when I instantiated one of the plugs in Reaper. You may need to search your email for the original code.

I purchased the upgrade from Don't Crack but they didn't email me about this. Have sent them an email now.

I just realised that my last "upgrade" (they've all been free) was from dontcrack, and not nomadfactory.
I still have an account at dontcrack.com with the order number - and the download link takes me to the same place as the one the guy from nomadfactory gave me
I don't really understand the difference between nomadfactory and dontcrack - but as far as the BBE plugins are concerned - I think they're pretty much the same.
I had a BBE sonic maximiser plugin from Cakewalk, a *long* time ago, and since then, I've been getting free updates, even when it became "sonic sweet". I can't really complain about how they've treated me - I just find it a little confusing

IIRC Nomad Factory got bought out by Plugivery, Don't Crack's parent company. so now they're like Google and YouTube.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

You're right - Plugivery has something to do with it too
I guess they're all "related"

The good update maintenance of the plugins is worth mentioning:

"Bought out" is quite the way to put it...
"saved by" is a far more appropriate description, I would think.

Just noticed this thread and didn't realize the BBE plugins were still going. I liked the Sonic Maximiser (although never thought it quite captured the hw sound - I still have one stored away somewhere) but never tried those other ones. Must try them out, and seem like a value deal. $49 or so from Sweetwater, I noticed. How are the other 3 plugins, do people use them over masters, or buses/ channels etc? How do you rate them? I generally don't much like saturation type plugins, so they won't all be useful for me, but very interested to hear the loudness and bass thingies.
I think this is one of those rare (for me) impulse plugin must-have moments.
