... and no-one says a word about it. I know its not a complete song but I do have bandwidth issues and I cannot afford to put up files that are too big.
I put this up on the thread about our new synths but I think it got lost because no-one said boo about it so I thought I'd throw the link up here - SLEEPwalk. it is the well-loved Ultravox tune and it will probably make it onto our next album as we're kinda happy with it. This version is a bit different as we've tried to use as many of the new little killerz as possible. The breakdown is:
kARMAkILLER - Bass
LOVEkILLER - Lead
HOPEkILLER - Strings
iDkILLERpv - Growly sound and rhythm
ORION DrumRack - Drums
FX - Platinum Reverb, Platinum Diffuse Delay, 2 Band Distortion.

I can put up a few more of ya trax if you want :-o

Its ok, but where are the vocals?

Post

We did it for the first time in Newcastle [on Hunter] a few weeks back it the vocals were a little dusty, to say the least. I had leanred the lyrics but hadn't really thought about how I would sing it. The vox ended up sounding very Sid Vicious. We also did the Cure's One Hundred Years which was far more Hugh Cornwell styleee. On the album I'll do the whispering thing but live I have to yell.

sounds cool, not sure on the mix (sounds muddy) but that maybe just the mp3 encoding.

you should give these guys a shout, unless you already have a deal.

moneys not amazing but it pays the bills.

I can hear this as some chat show theme.

Sounds like daytime TV theme music with techno beats! Thanks for sharing. :D
Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

Tiptop tune Bones;

Very cool!

Whens the new album due? Any stateside tour plans?

Post

This sounds excellent, BONES! The solo sound was right in the tradition of Billie Currie's Odyssey, but with even more punch and beefiness, and the bass is punchy as hell...damn nice work! :)

I think he used most of my presets for kARMAkILLER on this track, but I could be wrong..

:hihi:
