That's actually a cool idea. Might utilize this for some future music project of mine.
My solo projects:
Hekkräiser (experimental) | MFG38 (electronic/soundtrack) | The Santtu Pesonen Project (metal/prog)

Nice idea to be honest. A feature which is included in Cubase and for just some quick brainstorming when on a tight deadline I always use it, but its nice to have it like this as external source as well. Bookmarked and looking forward to use it! Cheers

Nice one. For convenience: When I click in the randomize chord button and have it on autoplay, it should not stop playback.

You mean like this?OreoSplitter wrote:I'd rather have a list of common progressions vs click, click, click. For example key of C one of them was iii, I, V, vi. Sure it uses chords all from key of C but isn't very useful. Five minutes of learning what chord progressions are and a chart of say 8 progressions and you're good.
Another one in key of C, iv, V, iii, iv. Yep in the key of C and C is not even included. Or getting iii, V. Thats it. 2 chords? How is that even useful. I would rather pass on the BS and have someone give me real useful info,

Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Thanks everyone for advice and motivation! I will add MIDI export, different types of chords, list of progressions and try to make playback more responsive. Have a good day guys!

Good 1st cut IMO, particularly like the simplistic approach and randomisation features. It's now bookmarked, I'll be watching progress with interest. Good luck!andy671 wrote:Thanks everyone for advice and motivation! I will add MIDI export, different types of chords, list of progressions and try to make playback more responsive.
