Hi,

'I imagine they some spent time sculpting these sounds, they don't tend to turn up in presets!'

I find the first 3 minutes of this track so atmospheric. I know they used the PPG wave amongst other synths of the time but could these sounds be accurately replicated in software?

I'd like to believe it....
so any tips would help

Why not? If you tweak long enough. :clown:

At that period they used PPG, Synclavier, Jupiter-8, Oberheim, Moog Modular, Emulator, custom stuff.
